Wildlife Tour + Volunteer + Sloth Tour (Full Day Program)

Full Day Volunteer Program – Proyecto Asis. Wildlife and Sloth Sanctuary. La Fortuna, Arenal, Costa Rica.

We have combined our most wanted daily tour + volunteer with the new sloth sanctuary tour. This option offers you the opportunity to know our wildlife animals’ stories, you will prepare their food and you will also learn about the fascinating biology of the two species of sloths of Costa Rica.

You will be able to see wildlife up-close, animals such as toucans, macaws, monkeys, peccaries, coatis, sloths and other species.

Includes coffee break with snack (however, lunch is not included).

Duration: 5.5 hours approximately

Schedule: Monday to Saturday

Time options:

  • Time option #1:

8:30 am to 12:00pm – starts at Asis Wildlife Rescue Center
1:00 pm to 3:00 pm – continue at the Sloth Center

  • Time option #2:

10:00 am to 12:00 pm – starts at the Sloth Center
1:00 pm to 4:30 pm – continue at Asis Wildlife Rescue Center

Price per person: $93 USD

How to Book: The Full Day is the combination of both, Sloth Sanctuary Tour and Wildlife Tour + Volunteer which means you can book them yourself by booking both activities separate online. You just have to go the respective tour options and book (please check both activities availability in advance). Important Notes

Our wildlife tours are offered in English or Spanish only (However, groups are not mixed, so guides will only speak one language). You need to specify what language of the ones available you need when booking. 

Lunch is not included. You will have a one-hour break for lunch. Please plan to bring a packed lunch, or to eat at a nearby restaurant.

If you are with someone who speaks a language other than English or Spanish and are able to translate for them, we appreciate that you do so in a manner that does not interrupt the tour for others.

  • Please arrive 15 minutes earlier in order to check in and be told about extra details.
  • Bring bug repellent and closed shoes (flip flops are not permitted).
